Trollbeads Akron’s Lucky Saint Patrick’s Day Braclet
Happy Saint Patrick’s Day to you and yours! We are celebrating this year by wearing our green beads and four leaf clovers. I thought I would just take a little time today to share my evolving Saint Patrick’s Day bracelet with you. This year it has made some big changes thanks to the release of the Lucky Friends Bracelet for Trollbeads 40th Anniversary. Before that I was using the Freja Knot for my lock on this bracelet or just using the retired Lucky Clover on a silver bangle (it looks awesome with oxidized stoppers).
My favorite way to use the Bead of Fortune is how I have it set up on this bracelet, like that bead is holding in all the good luck and fortune that these beads represent.
Another thing that changed on this bracelet this year was I took off the Malachite to use on another design and replaced it with the Diamond Bead in Green, which I had not been using on any of my personal bracelets yet. I also added the new trollbeads Nature Unity and the Citrine Facet Tassel this year after their Spring 2017 release.
The Lucky Knot and the Heaven’s Garden silver beads have been on this bracelet since I put one together for Saint Paddy’s. The lucky knot being a pretty obvious choice and the Heaven’s Garden to me looks a lot like a rainbow. I have debated putting a snake bead on here too because Saint Patrick was said to have ride Ireland of all it’s snakes, but I have not quite been swayed to put it on there yet and I think the Nature Unity is sort of snake like.
What about you? Wearing green of St. Paddy’s? Do you put together trollbeads bracelets by season (you can check out more of our ideas about that here) or just whatever strikes you? Let us know in the comments below!
LOVE the idea of splitting the Bead of Fortune this way…your bracelet is beautiful and too lovely to only wear the week of St. Paddy’s Day! Happy SPD!!!
