Trollbeads Hues of Wonder Starter Bracelet

The Trollbeads Hues of Wonder starter bracelet was released in the spring of 2019

2017 brought us the Wishful Sky Bracelet, which we were all crazy about. 2018 brought us the Art to Go Bracelet, which was met with mixed reviews. Now, for 2019, the Hues of Wonder Starter Bracelet was recently launched. Although we have not yet heard many reviews, I am so happy with this new addition to the Trollbeads collection. With the friendly $109 price tag, and a focused but versatile theme, this starter bracelet is quickly growing on me. I have to admit, when I first saw the stock photo, I was a bit scared that the glass bead was going to read too yellow, which is not my favorite color. So I was quite pleased to see that the pastel purples and greens, and soft yellows, all blend beautifully together.

In the bracelet pictured above and below, I took some of my favorite pastels and made what I’m calling a Spring Dream look. (Trust me, I have been dreaming about spring for a while now!) I used the March Daffodils, not only because this bracelet was released on the first of March, but also because I always find the shape of it so lovely on the wrist. I also really enjoy using the Lush Meadow and Forget Me Nots (my first Troll silver favorite) together, because these silver charms compliment each other so well.

The lock on this bracelet is lovely, but can be slightly challenging with longer nails, although it is not nearly as tricky to latch as some older locks (Catching Hearts, Lock with Buds and Go Christmas Crazy were all too challenging to enjoy). Do you think the lock is intended to be a violet or a Pansy? Are you excited for this release? Have you purchased a starter bracelet before? We would love to hear from you in the comments below!

  4. I always enjoy your design pieces and the lovely photos you take. “Hues of Wonder” looks like the perfect starting place for a Spring bracelet but I suspect you are correct about the lock.

One a different note, I wonder if you would consider making a necklace similar to the “Trollbeads Trick November” design: https://www.trollbeads.com/en/be-inspired/campaigns/trollbeads-trick/trollbeads-trick-november/TAGBO-00948.html I would very much like to know what the finished length of such a design would be. Does it become a “choker”?
