Trollbeads Fall Release 2017

I am a complete autumn fanatic. It may be “basic” but bring on the pumpkin spice and sweater weather! Fall may not be here just yet- but the Fall Trollbeads

are and that is good enough for me! Especially because this collection is dreamy. For a while I think we all have been watching as Trollbeads has experimented with new ideas and looks for collections. Which has been fun, but this collection has what I, and a lot of collectors I have spoken to, have been missing. Great colors, innovative design, and a sense of something a bit mystical make this fall collection one that deserves A LOT of attention.

Something I can’t remember ever happening before that is an added perk of this release is that ALL the beads work together. Both the Forest Life and the Forest Secrets kits can be mixed with such ease, they do really seem like they belong together, unlike most seasons where there are two very different glass kits ideas floating around. This entire collection has a wonderful enchanted forest vibe to it and I have been having so much fun putting together looks with these beads I have to share some photos with you.

Here you can see that I mixed some of the glass from both of the kits with some favorite beads from past releases. Honestly, if there is even a slight opportunity for me to mix purple into a design that is going to happen and with the Acorns bead, Forest Mist and Raindrops from this seasons release it was a no brainer to bring the purple to the forefront of my design.

Green is another color that really draws my eye, and what I loved about playing with these greens was discovering how very different they are from greens of past collections. I have my fingers crosse that one day looking at all of my Trollbeads will be like looking at a Pantone spread ( and its well on its way). In this bracelet design I wanted to use the Cat’s Eye and the Slumber to make sure the Sparkling Moss and the Glimpse of Green didn’t read “too heavy” or dark. I really like how bright this turned out.

Like every one else in the Troll world I have really been enjoying wearing bangles lately- they are just so easy to change daily. So I was really excited to see that they would be adding a whole new textured bangle and some very interesting spacers this season.
