Trollbeads Buy 3 get the 4th FREE on St. Patrick’s Day? How lucky!
Confession- I am neither Catholic nor Irish, but one thing I am is a a green fan/fanatic. I don’t know what it is that draws me to it, but green always catches my eye. So around this time of year I get to bring out some of my favorite beads, wear them all together and not have anyone raise an eyebrow.
The first bracelet you see in this post is, of course, inspired by the legend of St. Patrick chasing all the snakes out of Ireland. I used many of our “lucky” beads and rich greens to mix all of the symbology and legend behind this holiday onto one super lucky bracelet.
This bracelet features the Bead of Fortune, which I love to use split apart. It is a 2 part bead covered in lucky ? symbols. By placing a series of beads between the two bead of fortune pieces, I can create my own “fortune” held securely by these bookends. I like to choose a series of beads that tell a literal story, or a color story, that is meaningful to me at the moment. Do you use the Bead of Fortune together or separate? I have seen both, but usually people have a story behind why they use it the way they do.
I would be remiss if I neglected to include this Lucky Dragon in the post, since we are talking about luck! How sweet is this little guy? He is a Trollbeads classic and has been in the collection longer than I have been working with Trollbeads ( which is nearly a decade!). I also made sure to include gold in this bracelet, to represent the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Speaking of rainbows, you can find Green Rainbow here, and Celebrate Life here if you would like to incorporate this St. Patrick’s Day symbol into your design!
Just one more thing before I wish you a happy weekend – there are only a few days left for the buy 3 get the 4th free sale which ends Tuesday March 20th! Take advantage of this great deal because it will be MONTHS until we are allowed to run it again! We wish you a very happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Fabulous. Never thought to take bead of fortune apart.
