Trollbeads Akron’s Beauty and the Beast Bracelet
Confession: I am a pretty big Disney nerd. If you need a partner for Disney trivia I am your girl. So when any Disney movie is released the chance of me seeing it on the opening day are pretty high. The live action Beauty and the Beast was no exception and last weekend I saw it twice. The first animated Beauty and The Beast was released when I was 6 and the magic of it left me spellbound. I can say that I had a very similar reaction to it this time around as an adult. I loved how the characters were more developed, with more back story, and stronger personalities; you can actually understand how a girl could fall for someone who looks like the combination of a lion and a ram.
So after thinking about this movie most of my weekend ( and writing my Spring Blog Post ) I put together a little Beauty and the Beast bracelet ( with the sound track playing in my head)!
The color palate for this bracelet is a bit of a throwback to the original ball room scene, with Belle in yellow and the Beast in blue, I love how the Cool Dusk has both of these colors wrapped into one glass bead. The other glass beads I included in this Trollbeads silver bracelet design include: Yellow Prism, Engraved Poetic, Honey Dawn, Denim Prism, Honey Dew ( which is actually an Amber bead), Fountain of Life, and the retired glass bead Silver Trace Beige Blue.
I started with color, but once I looked for silver beads it was hard to stop! Of course I had to use a large rose, as that is one of the more iconic images from both of the movies and a major part of the story line, I chose the Rose Pendant here, but you could also use the smaller silver Rose or the Rose of June.
Then I added Friends for Belle and the Beast’s shared love of books, Dancing to represent the ballroom scene, Teacup to represent the many lovable enchanted castle staff members, Royal and Prince and Princess for the Beast’s past life and Belle and Beast’s possible (probable) future together.
Tell Your Story with Silver Beads
I also don’t think this bracelet would be complete without the Love is Blind silver bead and the Lock of Wisdom. I am so pleased with how this bracelet turned out that I am beginning to mentally plot other themed bracelets, so keep an eye out for those!
Do you have any themed bracelets? Did you see the new or old Beauty and the Beast? Did you love it like I did? Lets talk about it! Leave your comments down below- but no spoilers please!
I do have a special bracelet. I used the garden gnome, seven of them to be exact! The seven dwarves with gem stones (blue & red tiger eye, ruby, diamond bead w/gold core, labradorite, golden cave, silver mountain, and desert sand.
Heather it’s a very very beautiful bracelet. I’ll be inspired by him.
