Summer is Coming – Bring on the Color!

Well – depending on where you are summer may already be here… and I am ready to break out all my brights for some sunny summer inspired looks. What I have really been drawn to lately is taking beads I already have and reutilizing them on colorful leather bracelets. This was completely inspired by using November birth month beads on a colorful leather bracelet a few months back for another blog post that you can see here.

Another great color combo that I think is perfect for summer is this blue and black mix – it totally makes me think of a day at the pool, so when our new intern put this together I was very excited to wear it. Notice how she used the crystal-y blue colors and the water bead? Love it for a cool summer look. Pool side ? anyone?

This I like to think of as the “toned down” version of the Pumpkin and Grape combo – still rich in color but much easier (for me at least) to pair with beads and wear on a day-to-day basis. I love this color combination with purples and greens, but oranges and pinks look lovely as well.

Though this bracelet may not be bright like the others, I find that this color combination goes so well with all the pretty boho looks that are so popular through the summer season. I can not wait to pair this look with a cute chambray dress or a neutral off the shoulder top.
