There is some big news to bring in the New Year!  We have a new Team member here at Trollbeads Akron. Which is very exciting, not only because it will help us further our commitment to excellent customer service, but our new team member has a background in photography! So this means more inspiring images of the beads we all love from a fresh eye. We will be showcasing some of her first designs here in this post and on our social media sites through-out the new year and beyond! Here is a little introduction:

Hey there! I thought this would be a great time to introduce myself. My name is Lizzie and I’m brand new to Troll Beads Akron. After photographing some bracelet and bangle combinations I wanted to share with all of you what I’ve put together. Getting to know these beautiful beads and what makes them so special to all of you is important to me. So this is your opportunity to tell me: what do you love about Troll Beads? Is it the artistry? The way each bead represents a special moment in your life? Creating gorgeous combinations? Tell me! I can’t wait to get to know all of you.Works from Lizzie’s first Trollbeads Akron Post

  1. My husband is an award-winning photographer as well as a photography judge in Australia, so I do appreciate a good photo and these are good. It is also a nice way for we purchasers to view actual bracelets that someone has put together. Keep up the good work.

    1. Maureen- Thank you for the kind words! I look forward to publishing more live images for everyone to see!

  2. Wellcome Dear Lizzie, I like trollbeads and I like nice photo and colages. Because trollbeads are so different (stones and glass) it is better to see the live image.

  3. Welcome Lizzie! The photographs you have shared are lovely and I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Regarding what makes Trollbeads special to me is thatI love the beautiful glass beads and playing with the color combinations. Then adding in various silver beads just enhances the design. I think that with the various bracelets and necklaces and beads Trollbeads allows me to play and be creative and then wear what I have come up with. I find compared to other brands Trollbeads has the most varied and beautiful glass. Their silver is well done and not “cutesy” like some of the other brands. I like the oxidization of TB’s silver as opposed to the shiny silver of competitors.

Good luck and Happy New Year!

    1. Valerie-
Thanks for you kind words! All of us at Trollbeads Akron love the oxidized silver and really appreciate the “non-cutesy” vibe of the silver.

    1. Cindy- Of course you can! Please let us know which bracelet(s) you are interested in and we can send you over a PayPal invoice!

  4. You nailed the reasons I collect troll, but the final benefit I love is … it is my adult toy box. I adore arranging the beads. I find it totally clears my mind as I work with the design ….very much like meditation, but you get an end product. Finally if you don’t like the end product you aren’t out anything, you can start over in a new direction.

I look forward to seeing more of your beautiful designs.

    1. Thanks Denise! It was a little overwhelming to approach such a big collection, but it has been fun. I have another blog post coming soon.

  5. What exciting news! Lizzie, those are lovely pictures and great inspiration. It’s fun to see “old” beads used in new ways.

Like Denise, my beads are a great source of relaxation for me and I love playing with them and appreciate new ideas.

    Welcome!

  6. Love the pictures – would you possibly name the beads so we know which ones we may wish to purchase? Mary Beth
