I am not going to lie to you ladies… When I heard the color of the much-hyped Diamond Bead for the Americas was amber, I was a bit disappointed. I mean, initially I was thinking “really, another amber bead…” Nevertheless, I was trying to stay positive and keep an open mind about finding some way to use this new bead. Then the day came when they arrived.

WOOOOWWWW!!!! You can actually use this bead with nearly everything. I am a HUGE fan of the Diamond Bead with a gold core because it is such a versatile item, but the price is not really friendly for everyone’s budget. And the Diamond Bead in White is not what I would consider a very versatile bead, though I use it often and it is quite lovely, it is a very bright white. So this beautiful Amber (more honey than tan) is the perfect addition to the collection: versatile like the Gold Core, but budget friendly like the White.

I have also been very impressed with the consistency of this release. Generally Diamond beads run a bit bigger in size due to the nature of how they are made, but these are not overly chubby, nor are they too small. I have seen very little color variation in the beads as well, which as an online retailer I greatly appreciate (It’s no fun when someone is not happy with a bead because it does not look like the photo).

I only did three looks for this post, but I am sure if you keep an eye on social media I will be using this bead in HEAVY Rotation! What do you think of the new Diamond Bead in Amber?
